Nelkenstrasse 16 (AT) - in development

Eight tenants live under one roof at Nelkenstraße 16. At the center of the house is 42-year-old nurse Rieke with her daughter Emmy. In the apartment below her on the ground floor lives 79-year-old Lore. Their coexistence is mostly peaceful. Only Lore complains from time to time—about the smell of Amir’s cooking from the attic or about having to accept packages for the neighbors. The summer heat is getting to everyone. Rieke works too much, helps where she can, and is constantly exhausted. After a strenuous night shift, she comes home and just wants some peace and quiet. She puts in her earplugs and falls into a deep sleep. Lore falls in her bathroom, breaks her hip, and can’t get up. No one hears her cries for help or the knocking on the walls. The days pass. The neighbors begin to wonder why no one has seen Lore. How long should they wait before doing something? And who is actually responsible?
