Luisa - in postproduction

Luisa lives in a residential home for people with disabilities. She is 22 years old and curious about life. Suddenly she is pregnant. The phenomenon of sexual abuse of disabled people is not new – but the fact that women with disabilities are 2-3 times more likely to be affected by sexual abuse than non-disabled people shows a social abyss and is clearly underrepresented as a widely perceived topic. The reasons for this lie in the way of the accommodation of people with disabilities, the protection of their civil rights and the lack of perception as people with their own sexuality. The story we tell in the documentary feature film is based on interview research.
