Überleben - questions from an interview research

A radio play made of questions. The hospital murders that occurred between 2000 and 2005 in hospitals in Oldenburg and Delmenhorst are beyond our imagination. How can we deal with them? How can we come to terms with the murders and attempted murders in hospitals committed by a nurse in Oldenburg and Delmenhorst in 2000-2005? How do these acts enter the collective memory of the city’s inhabitants? The artist collective werkgruppe2 conducted on-site interviews with relatives, survivors, clinic staff, and court employees, as well as followed the trial of the perpetrator. The answers from the interviews as well as trial transcripts were condensed in order to search in a focused way for questions that are still open. How can commemoration of the events, of the deceased, look like and be anchored locally? How can trust in the hospital and the staff working there be restored? Four voices provide different perspectives.
